2、sisofthefollowingelementsofcurriculum:needsanalysis,objectives,materials,teaching,testingandevaluationonthebasisofmyowncurriculumexperiences.Thatisanaturalprocessingwhichisappliedinmycurriculum.  Ⅰ.NeedsAnalysis:  Ingeneralterms,needsanalysis(alsocalledneedsassessment)referstotheactivitiesi

3、nvolvedingatheringinformationthatwillserveasthebasisofdevelopingacurriculumthatwillmeetthelearningneedsofaparticulargroupofstudents(Brown,1995:35).Itshouldbereferredtoatthebeginningofthecurriculum.Differentstudentshavedifferentneed,suchaspasstheexamination,communicatewithothersfluently,writ

4、eaperfectVCtofindadesiredjob.Wecanusevariouskindofmethods(suchasusingexistinginformation,interviewing,holdingmeeting,organizingquestionnaire,etc)togettheinformation.  Ⅱ.Objectives:  Thenlet’stalkaboutobjectiveswhichcanbedefinedastheparticularknowledge,behaviors,andskillsthatthelearnerwillbe

5、expectedtoknowaccordingtotheirneedsattheendofacourse.  Becauseallofmystudentsneedtopasstheexam,wehavetoorganizethespecificobjectivestoachievethatkindofneed.Isettledowntheobjectivesatthebeginningofthetermandmakethemcleartoeverystudent.Takeoneunitforexample,theobjectivesofoneunitincluderememb

6、eringnewvocabularyandphraseslistedatthebackofthetextbook,readingandrecitingthemainparagraphinthetext,makingcleargrammarsappearedintheunit(suchaspasttense,nounphrases,non-infinitiveclauseetc)andcompletingthequestionslistedintheworkbookcorrectly.Inthissection,studentsarenotallowedtomakeobject

7、ivestogetherwithteacher,theyareonlyaskedtoacceptthempassively.  Ⅲ.Materials:  Inordertorealizetheobjectives,wehavetochoosematerialstousethemintheclass.Teachermayconcernwhethertheexistingmaterialsaremeetstudents’needsandobjectives.Thecontentsofcoursearede
