4、dness).Classically,theterminflammationwasusedadvancesinmanyfieldsofmedicinethathaveextendedtheusetodenotethepathologicreactionwherebyfluidandcirculatingofcomplexinvasiveproceduresandpotentimmunosuppressiveleukocytesaccumulateinextravasculartissueinresponsetoagents.Giventheimportanceofsep
5、sisasapublichealthinjuryorinfection.Today,inflammationconnotesnotonlyproblem,effortshavebeenmadetotranslateimprovementsinlocalizedeffects,suchasedema,hyperemia,andleukocyticinfil-ourunderstandingofinflammationandinflammatorymedia-tration,butalsosystemicphenomena—forexample,feverandtorsin
