2、mforwastewaterAmodifiedversionoftheSBRistheIntermittenttreatment.Inthissystem,wastewaterisaddedtoaCycleExtendedAerationSystem(ICEAS).Inthesinglebatchreactor,treatedtoremoveICEASsystem,influentwastewaterflowsintotheundesirablecomponents,andthendischarged.reactoronacontinuousb
3、asis.Assuch,thisisnotEqualization,aeration,andclarificationcanallbeatruebatchreactor,asistheconventionalSBR.Aachievedusingasinglebatchreactor.TooptimizebafflewallmaybeusedintheICEAStobufferthistheperformanceofthesystem,twoormorebatchcontinuousinflow.Thedesignconfigurationsof
4、thereactorsareusedinapredeterminedsequenceofICEASandtheSBRareotherwiseverysimilar.operations.SBRsystemshavebeensuccessfullyusedtotreatbothmunicipalandindustrialDescriptionofaWastewaterTreatmentPlantwastewater.TheyareuniquelysuitedforUsinganSBRwastewatertreatmentapplicationsc
5、haracterizedbyloworintermittentflowconditions.AtypicalprocessflowschematicforamunicipalwastewatertreatmentplantusinganSBRisshownFill-and-drawbatchprocessessimilartotheSBRinFigure1.Influentwastewatergenerallypassesarenotarecentdevelopmentascommonlythought.throughscreensandgri
