2、tedtheoreticallyandnumerically.Thewatertransporttothesolidificationinterface,thatis,freezingfront,playsanimportantroleonsolidificationinunsaturatedgranularpackedbeds.Itisfoundthattherateoftheabsorptionofwaterintothefrozenlayerdependsonthefreezingheatfluxandthewatersaturation
3、atthesolidificationinterface.Asaresult,icecontentinthefrozenlayerisrelatedtotherateoftheabsorptionofwaterandthefreezingheatflux.Theone-dimensionalsolidificationmodelassociatedwithphasechangeconditionsandthecoordinatetransformationtechniquesforthemovingboundaryproblemarecompl
4、etelypresentedtocalculatethetemperatureandwatersaturationdistributionsandtheinterfaceposition.Later,thepredictedresultsarecomparedwithexperimentalresultsobtainedusinggranularpackedbedscomposedofglassbeadsandwater.Nomenclatureinmanyengineeringsystems.Someofthespecificapplic
