4、inedtheimpactofinteractivewhiteboarduseonstudentengagementandappropriateat-taskbehaviorsofjuniorhighschoolstudents.Twohundredtwenty-sixstudentsattwopublicschoolsinnortheastFloridawereobservedduringthesecondquarteroftheschoolyear.Datawerecollectedusinganat-taskchecklist,andstudentscomp

5、letedanattitudesurveyregardingtheirperceptionoftheirownengagementandenjoymentwithinteractivewhiteboarduse.Significantdifferenceswerenotedinstudentbehaviorbetweeninstructionwithoutinteractivewhiteboarduseandinstructionwithinteractivewhiteboarduse.Nosignificantcorrelationswerefoundbetwe

6、enthevariablesgenderandethnicityandimprovedstudentbehavior.Resultsindicatethatuseoftheinteractivewhiteboardasaninstructionaltoolhasabeneficialeffectonstudentengagementinclassroomlessonsandleadstoimprovedstudentbehavior.Suggestionsforfurtherresearchareincorporatedaspartofthestudyresult
