3、edusing2self-reportingquestionnaires:theself-worthsubscaleoftheWorldAssumptionScale(Janoff-Bulman,1989)andtheself-acceptancesubscaleoftheScalesofPsychologicalWell-Being(Ryff&Keyes,1995).OuranalysisrevealedthatdepressedpatientsshowedlowerexplicitSEthandidparanoidandhealthycontrolparticipa
4、nts.However,participantswithpersecutorydelusionshadsignif-icantlylowerimplicitSEscoresthandidhealthycontrols.Weinterpretthediscrepanciesobservedbetweenovertandcovertmeasuresintheparanoidgroupaspsychologicaldefensemechanisms.Thepresentstudystressestheclinicalandtheoreticalimportanceoftheu
