2、nIran,anditsinfluentialfactors.Methods:Inthisdescriptivestudy,conductedin2008,theparticipantswere384workersinSUMSselectedthroughsimplerandomsamplingprocedure.Theparticipantsreceiveda33-itemquestionnaireinaLikertformat(8generalitemsand25itemsrelatedtojobsatisfac

3、tionfacets).ThecollecteddatainformoffrequenciesandpercentageswereanalyzedwithSPSSsoftware.Results:53.4%ofintervieweeswerefemaleandmorethan60%hadassociateorhigherdegrees.42.6%hadlessthan10yrand30.9%had20to30yrofjobexperience,respectively.Themeanoftheoverallsatis

4、factionwas13.02outof20.Regardingthefacetsofjobsatisfaction,work,coworkers,supervisor,andpromotionhadthehighestmeans,respectively.PearsonandSpearmancorrelationcoefficientsshowedasignificantrelationshipbetweenoverallsatisfactionandthefacets(P=0.001).Analysisofvar

5、iancealsoshowedsignificantdifferenceinoverallsatisfactionbasedonorganizationalunits;however,nosignificantrelationshipwasobservedbetweenoverallsatisfactionandgender,degree,age,jobexperienceandtypeofemployment.Conclusion:Improvementofpromotionprocess,trainingandq

6、ualifyingmanagers,observingmeritocracyprinciplesinappointments,usingcooperativemanagement,creatingconvivialandfriendlyatmosphereandimprovingworkenvironmentonditions,havebroughtaboutanincreaseinoverallsatisfactionofemployeesinSUMS.Keywords:JobsatisfactionEmploye
