2、comingintoforceofthisActfordifferentStatesinMalaysiaorfordifferentprovisionsofthisAct.2 InterpretationInthisAct,unlessthecontextotherwiserequires-"advertisement"includesanyrepresentationbyanymeanswhatsoeverforthepurposesofpromotingdirectlyorindirectlythesaleorotherdis
3、posalofanyfood;"analyst"meansanyanalystappointedundersection3;"animal"includesanyquadrupedorbirdeitherdomesticatedorotherwise,fish,reptileorinsect;wholeorpartofwhichareusedforhumanconsumption;"appliance"includesthewholeoranypartofanyutensil,machinery,instrument,apparatu
4、s,orarticleusedfororinconnectionwiththepreparation,preservation,packaging,storage,conveyance,distributionorsaleoffood;"approvedlaboratory"meansanylaboratoryapprovedbytheMinisterundersection3A;"authorizedofficer"meansanymedicalofficerofhealthoranyassistantenvironmentalhe
