4、usedforCodeproductexamination.Singleprobe,anglebeamscanningshallbetheprincipalmethod,ifnecessary,straightbeamscanningmayalsobeused.1.3Thisprocedureisapplicableforultrasonicexaminationofbutt-welded,fullpenetratedjointinwrought(rolled,drawn,forgedorextruded)materialwiththicknessequaltoorgrea

5、terthan5/16in.(8mm)detecting,locatingandevaluatingthereflectorsfromtheweldmetal,heataffectedzoneandbasemetaladjacenttheweld.1.4Ultrasonicexaminationofsinglesideweldedpartialpenetratedweldsandausteniticsteelweldsarenotconsideredtobewithinthescopeofthisprocedure.1.5Unlessotherprocedurehasbee

6、napprovedandacceptedthatmayspecifyparticularrequirements,ultrasonicexaminationrelatingtomethod,evaluation,anddetailedtechniqueandrequirementshallbeinaccordancewiththisprocedure.2.NDEPERSONNEL2.1NDEpersonnelshallbequalifiedandcertifiedaccordingto******’SWrittenPracticeQCD-011basedonSNT–TC-I
