5、esultsUrbanpopulationsretainedhighlevelsofgeneticvariation(percentageofpolymorphicloci,Pp¼80.7%)withsimilargeneticdistancesamongpopulationsandanabsenceofuniquealleles.Geographicandgeneticdistanceswerecorrelatedwithoneanother,andallpopulationsgroupedaccordingtoregion.Individualsfromurban

6、populationsclusteredtogetherandawayfromindividualsfromagriculturalpopulationsandfromtheMichiganpopulationinaprinciplecoordinatesanalysis.Hierarchicalanalysisofmolecularvariance(AMOVA)revealedthatmostofthegeneticvariabilitywaspartitionedwithinpopulations(69.1%)andamonggroupshttp://aob.ox
