5、andfiberscollectedat10DPA,fromtwointerspecificbackcrossinbredlines(BILs).Thelibrariesweresequencedandanalyzed.Thereweresignificantdifferencesinfiberlengthbetweenthetwolines,whileotheryieldandfiberqualitycharactersweresimilar.BycomparisonwiththeD5cottongenomeandother
6、knowncottonsequences,weidentified561miRNAs,including254conservedmiRNAs,75candidateconservedmiRNAs,and232newmiRNAsinthelibraries.ThesedatarepresentalargeincreaseinthenumberofknowncottonmiRNAs.MostmiRNAsactasnegativeregulatorsoftheirtargets,andveryfewmiRNAsarepositive
