3、yetpervasive.Aswegoaboutourdailylives,wedonothaveagreatsenceofourculture’sinfluence.Cultureexisteverywherearoundusbetweendifferentnationsevendifferentcountries.Culturehasadirectinfluenceonthephysical,relationalandperceptualenvironment.Yetmostofourthoughts,emotions,andbehavi
4、orsareprofoundlyaffectedbydifferentcultures.Inadditiontotherapidgrowthofmodernsociety,Peoplehavemoreandmoreexchanges,theimportanceofinterculturalcommunicationisbecomingmoreimportant.Interculturalcommunicationoccurswheneveraminimumoftwopersonsfromdifferentculturesorcountries
5、cometogetherandexchangeverbalandnonverbalsymbols.Itcanoccurseverywhere.Forexample,Whenwedobusinesswithpeoplefromdifferentculturesordifferentcountries,weneedtocommunicatewiththem,weneedexchangedifferentviewsaboutthebusinessonthematterofinformation.Amainthemethroughoutthistex
6、tisthatinterculturalcommunicationisindispensable.Successfullycommunicattingwithsomeonefromadifferentcultureordifferentcountrieswhichisverydifficulttoourhumanrequiresadegreeofcommunicationcompetence.Mostmodelsofcommunicationcompetenceincludeaaffective,andbehavioralcomponent,
7、whichisindispensableincross-culturalcommunication.Withtherapidgrowthofthemodernsociety,thebenefitsoftheInterculturalcommunicationareevengreater.Communicatingandestablishingrelationshipswithpeoplefromdifferentculturescanleadtoawholehostofbenefits,includinghealthiercommunitie
