1、南昌大学硕士学位论文从《时代》周刊看美国媒体对中国国家形象的建构姓名:甘露申请学位级别:硕士专业:新闻学指导教师:刘仁圣20071101摘要全球化的背景下,大众传媒凭借其传播优势,通过报道一个国家而塑造着这个国家在社会公众中的国家形象.美国媒体以其雄厚的经济实力、先进的传播技术、丰富的传播经验及自身的语言优势,在塑造他国形象中扮演着举足轻重的角色。美国媒体在中美关系的不同阶段,其涉华报道无论在议题的选择和报道内容、报道方式上有着明显的差别,体现出很强的倾向性,塑造出不同时期下的中国形象。随着中国经济的快速发展
2、以及中国国际地位的提高,美国媒体更加关注中国。近年来,美国媒体对于中国的报道有什么变化,在美国媒体眼中的中国形象是怎样的,这就是本文所要探讨的问题。本文采取定量分析的研究方法,以‘时代》周刊为个案,选取2003年到2006年4年间的涉华报道,从报道数量、议题设置、报道内容和方式上进行分析,其中包括整体分析和常规议题、重大事件分析。可以看出‘时代》周刊的涉华报道以负面报道为主,这种倾向性在报道涉及中美关系及与美国国家利益相关的新闻事件方面体现得尤为明显.在此基础上归纳整理出涉华报道背后的各种制约因素,最后提出了
