3、sothecomparativestudyofChinese&Westernfoodcultureswillhelpusincreasecross-culturalawarenessthattolerating,understanding,andfurthermore,appreciatingandrespectingculturaldifferenceisessentialifwearetoachievecross-culturalcompetenceduringtheinteraction.Moreover,aswecommunic
4、atewithpeoplefromdifferentcultures,wewilllearnmoreaboutthemandtheirwayoflife,includingtheirhistory,valuesandthesubstanceoftheirpersonality,andeventually,wewillunderstandthembetter,orfeelempathywiththem.Basedontheabove-mentionedpurposes,theauthorofthisthesishopesthisresea
