7A版优质实用文档考完雅思已经有几个月了，之前一直忙于个人事务，现在终于有空分享下自己的烤鸭经验，绝无炫耀之意，希望能够帮助正在奋斗的烤鸭。 先说下自己的情况。从大二开始准备考雅思，历经3次，所以并非牛人。第三次的成绩为，听力：7分；阅读：7分；写作：6.5分；口语：8分。一般比较平均的分数，也有很多人觉得比较怪，不太像中国人的分数。前两次的口语成绩分别是6分和6.5分，这次的进步比较明显，所以希望很多之前和我一样的同学一定要对自己充满信心。 具体的复习情况。 1.考前：口语考试的考前准备非常重要，前两次考试都是因为临时抱佛脚导致考试思维条理不清晰，想到哪里说到哪里。这次复习特地为自己预留了两周的时间复习口语，并且找了一个之前考过雅思的同学进行对话增加效果，之后我也为即将考雅思的同学做过训练，个人感觉一对一是一种非常好的方式，因为一方很快就能发现问题所在，而另一方在每天的训练中也可以感觉到自己的进步。 其次是训练中三部分的分布： a.Part1：个人认为这部分比较轻松，主要聊一些与生活，学习有关的话题，一般会问3个左右方面（例如：major，fruitsandvegetables，driving），每个方面可能有3个左右问题。第一部分的话题比较单一，每个问题回答两到三句即可，言简意赅，给考官留下一个好的印象。有一种说法是Part1不计入打分，只是考官对你的水平做个了解，个人对此不置可否，希望牛人给大家解答。1607A版优质实用文档 b.Part2：这部分很重要，体现了你在短时间内组织思路和表达的能力。当然这部分也有很大的技巧，特别是对于口语考试在第二天的同学来说，Part2的话题是可以准备到的。我的做法是在考前两周的训练中，准备一些口试中普遍频率高的话题（如：traveling，film，friend），在考试前一天晚上，去3g或无忧看回忆，将一些冷门话题稍作准备。在准备的过程中，我也有自己的方法，即准备镜子，那好手表。镜子是在没有同学的情况下，关注一下的面部表情，让自己始终保持微笑，即使卡壳也要显得从容，而秒表是用来把握自己对2分钟这个时间的概念，因为考官往往会在超时的情况下打断你，此时如果你会因此感到紧张，不利于考试发挥。同时，应一个朋友要求，我把我Part2的题目的回答进行了回忆，附在附件中，希望给大家一些启发。 c.Part3：题比较抽象，主要以练思路为主，例如污染的解决问题，可以从政府，媒体，科学家以及每个普通人的角度来说。大家可以每天在车上或是空余时间，拿出几个Part3题目练练思路，因为在考试的短时间内可以给考官留下一个很好额印象。有一种说法是你的口语分数不会超过你Part3的得分，我也上不清楚这个说法是否属实。 2.考中：有同学说口语考试考位是按照姓氏首字母排列而不是报名时间，就我三次的经验可以证实这个说法是不对的。考试当天提前半小时到，遇到一个年轻帅气的考官，由于快到午饭时间，一进门先问他是不是饿了，他愣了一下，大笑起来，拉近了彼此的距离。考试比较顺利，就像之前演练的一样，我就把他当成了一面镜子。Part2正中下怀，抽到film。Part3小难，不知道是不是part2太过顺利，有个问题问了将近30秒，听得不是很真切，pardon了一遍，趁机整理思路，可他似乎对答案不是非常满意的样子。不过最后的成绩还是出乎我的意料。 7A版优质实用文档说到发音，这就是我的绝对弱项。你说发音很重要吧，它确实很重要，能有一口纯真的英音或者美音能给考官特别好的印象。但是，发音，说实话，也不是那么样的重要。本人到目前为止还不能准确地区分d?，?，?,j,th,v,w等几个辅音的发音，但这并不妨碍本人获得7分甚至更高。我的朋友Peter发音也不算太好，但是他照样拿9分。其实我觉得剑桥雅思在这面还是挺体贴世界各地的考生的，它比较理解各地的考生由于方言的影响而无法达到nativespeaker的水平。发音不好并不代表意思表达差，有方言口音并不妨碍交流对话的进行。当然，我并是说发音真的不需要注意。但是我想说的是，与其花大力气去做一些低产出的事情，还不如集中力量考虑口语的答题模式改善发音的方法有很多，而且是见仁见智，唯一肯定的是，它需要长时间的模仿和训练。我本人比较推介的方法是：买或者下载《李阳标准美音》（这个系列比较好，因为MP3里面详细解释了每个音应该怎么发，用嘴的哪个位置，而且它还配有对应的、典型的单词以及例句，这本身就是很好的口语素材），然后平时泛听并模仿，特别是有针对性地对自己说得比较差的几个音进行重点轰炸。我朋友George(口语8分)的方法是，每天坚持听BBC新闻广播，然后不断地重复跟读我朋友Jeffrey(口语8.5分)的方法是，每天坚持练英语绕口令半小时，尽可能地把自己的口腔肌肉都训练得非常麻利。我朋友Peter(口语9分)的方法是，长期观看美剧，听英文歌曲，然后体会其语境并且跟读。总体来说，当然如果你下周或者一个月之内就要考试的话，我觉得我朋友的那些方法对你来说基本是meaningless。练习发音真的是一个很漫长的过程。而且它的投入和产出不成正比。最可怕的是你学得四不像，这样就更丢人更容易失分了。1607A版优质实用文档 7A版优质实用文档最近看到烤鸭们的评论说，"雅思口语嘛，就是老老实实背topics吧"，这不禁让我想起了四年前的自己，想起那些昏天暗地没完没了的背书日子，想起那些一脱稿就思绪凌乱、一卡壳就目瞪口呆的经历。是的，我承认，无论学什么语言都要经历“背书--学话--调整”这样一个或长或短的试错过程(trialanderror)。毕竟，我们都不是生来就会带着一本语法书(Afterall,wearenotbornwithagrammarbook)。但是，是不是把所有topics都准备了，都背熟了，就可以征服雅思口语的呢？从个人的经验来说，这样的做法无法让我们很好地驾驭英语和自由地表达观点，并且只会让自己无时无刻沉溺于那些提前写好的字字句句当中，然后说着说着，言语就变得僵化，答题就变得死板，甚至说一些牛头不对马嘴(horses'jawsdon'tmatchcows'heads)的话来。那岂不很矛盾吗？一边又说要准备topics，熟记topics，一边又说要临场发挥，自由表达。是的，正是因为这样，我们就需要有一个系统的口语复习过程，背topics只是这个过程里最不起作用的一个环节。本人也曾经经历过这么一个过程：背别人的答案(成绩一直徘徊在5~6分)--->背自己的答案(成绩稳定在6分却不能再突破)--->说自己的故事(一下子跨过了7分的门槛)。从背稿到聊天，其实是一个质变的过程。决定这个过程的快慢不在于我们背诵topics的多少，而且在于我们自己思维逻辑的转变。何谓思维逻辑的转变？首先，我们得先熟悉雅思口语的三个部分要求是什么。PART1：这个阶段主要是一个让考生热身(warm-up)，让考官初步了解考生(gainfirstimpressionfromcandidates)的过程。这个部分的核心词是：description。考官想测试你一下对客观事物的英文描述能力，也就是说(thatistosay)，考官问的绝大数问题都是你的所见所闻，你要做的就是一五一十地罗列和陈述。简单来说，这部分的重点就是“说说家常，聊聊生活”。PART2：这个阶段开始处于一个过渡阶段，核心词是：description+eGplanation。卡片的设计都是从what,who,where,when过渡到how&why。很多烤鸭包括很多中国老师都认为，在这个section里面最为重要的就是回答卡片的最后一个问题，也就是eG1607A版优质实用文档 7A版优质实用文档plain。按照他们的逻辑，假如只顾着回答前面的what,who,when,where的问题而没来及说how&why，分数必定被拉低。事实是这样吗？实践是检验真理的唯一标准(practiceisthesolecriterionfortestingtruth)。我最近考的三次(20GG年2月12日，2月26日，3月5日)在回答Part2卡片题的时候都没来得及或者没答完最后那个问题就被考官打住了；但这不妨碍我拿到7分以上。所以我总结得出，重点不是你是否机械般地把题目回答完，而是你是否把所有的问题整合一个属于你的故事，整理出一个很清晰的脉络。简单来说，这部分的重点是“说说故事，聊聊感想”。PART3：这个阶段已经过渡到需要你的eGplanation了。这个部分毫无疑问是抢分的黄金机会，也是露家底的时候。如果说，part2topics还能事先准备的话，那么这部分的问题大部分都是即兴的，互动的，弹性的。要把这部分的题目提前准备，几乎不可能，或者说是，大海捞针(justlikelookingforaneedleinahaystack)，事倍功半(gethalftheresultswithtwicetheeffort)。这里的重点是解释说明。通常解释说明分为：举例子说明(useaneGampletoillustrate)，分析前因后果(interpretthecauseandeffect)和纵向横向比较(compareinverticaland/orhozontialdirection)。点不需要多，但一定要深入，合理，有逻辑。所以我认为这部分的重点是“说说道理，聊聊影响”。1607A版优质实用文档 7A版优质实用文档以上为我对雅思口语三个部分的理解，基于这种理解，我想说说怎么转变思维去准备雅思口语。我觉得，应该很多人都像我一开始那样，把重点放在了PART2，然后逐个topic去找答案写答案，然后朗读背诵。不可否认，这是一种最常规、貌似最踏实的方法。但实际呢，我们被topic无形地锁住了，我们的思维被topic无情地牵引着，以至于我们很时候都会觉得这个topic很难，那个topic不会。为什么会这样呢？这个过程可以理解为“从topics到stories”。因为我们从一开始就脱离了我们自己的亲身经历，只是随着topic来臆想来意淫，而且最要命的是，这些story很多都不是我们自己的亲身经历，说得难听一点，它们都是从别人那里窃取过来的，为的就是东拼西凑，投机取巧，坐享其成，蒙混过关。试问这样又怎么能自然流畅地谈笑风生呢？经过我这三个月的思考和总结，我觉得，平时我们在准备雅思口语的时候，应该更多地“从stories到topics”这个方向去思考。具体来说，就是什么都要先从自己的亲身经历出发，把自己的真实故事说出来。这就是我前面所说的描述亲身经历。雅思口语PART1，PART2和PART3其实无非就是从Description到EGplanation的过程，按照我的理解就是一个从“描述亲身经历”到“阐明普世价值”的过程。因此，我觉得我们不应该把这三个sections看成三个相互割裂的部分。因为一旦这么划分之后，我们的复习就变得异常的繁琐和沉重(burdensome)。试想一下，PART1有25个以上的topics(住所，家乡，天气，休闲，运动，学习，工作，衣着等，最近还出了新的topics，诸如“number”，“concert”等)。PART2就更疯狂了，据我所知，PART2可以划分为4大类：EVENT,LOCATION,PEOPLE,THING，而这4大类总共可以衍生出至少180个卡片题(曾经从百度文库里下载了一份关于part2的题库，吓我一跳，竟然有186个常考topics，看完之后，直接就绝望了)，要完整地、一个卡片不漏地准备，谈何容易啊。就算咋们真的有这样的恒心去把这些卡片题去准备了，一到了考场，在紧张，陌生，惊恐，亢奋等多种心理因素影响下，很多答案都会忘记得七七八八，或者混合在一起了，这必然会导致说话缺乏条理。到了PART3，我们依旧可能速手无策(wemaybeatalosswhattodo)，因为在PART3更像是随机应变，需要我们脱口而出，对答如流。此时此刻，考官和我们自己都禁不起折腾，这可以看作是我们雅思口语的赛点。1607A版优质实用文档 总之，影响口语成绩的因素主要包括考生的英语口头表达能力、心理素质以及应试策略。可以说，口语在短时期内得到明显提高几乎是不可能的，因而考生的临场心理素质(包括应试心理和与说英语国家的人打交道的经验)和考生的交际策略与技巧成了应考的关键因素。可见，参加口试必须在各个方面都要做好充分的准备，才能立于不败之地。 关于口试的4个阶段 ielts口试实际上只包含4个阶段，最后告别不过是一两句套话，整个考试过程的基本特点是：一般从易到难，话题由浅到深，阶段之间无明显的划分。考试重点在第4阶段，这一阶段也是考官判定得分的最重要的参考依据，因为前三个阶段从内容到形式都相对比较简单，且基本可以预见(predictable)，而最后阶段相对较难，更能真实地反映考生的最高水平。 第一阶段主要是为了放松与热身，作为面试的序幕，初步展示考生的英文口头表达能力(talkingbasicallyandgivingsimpleinformation)。其特点是试探性的，考官会用不同的方式问同样的内容(differentwaysaskingthesamethings)，绝对不会为难考生。第二阶段则进入发展阶段，这一阶段的交谈开始切入话题(talkinginmoredetail)，其特点是要求考生通过描述(describe)、比较(compare)和解释(eGplain)，使谈话更加深入(morepersonal)，提供比第一阶段内容更多的回答(longeranswers)。第三阶段考查考生通过提问获取信息的能力(gettinginformation)。在此需要特别提醒的是有些人在这一部分表现得差，要引起充分的重视。1607A版优质实用文档 第四阶段是整个面试的高潮部分，要求考生在前三个阶段表现了自己的基本交际能力之后，对自己的口语水平作最大的发挥，以让考官探知考生水平的最高等级。因此，考官会有意识地增加难度(trytostretchyou)，而且会更加灵活、深入，对问题的回答则要求更加充实、具体(bespecificandadequate)。但其难度应在不会阻碍交流继续下去的范围之内，以保证测试的信度(reliability)和效度(validity)。假如考生表现的现有水平为i，那么考官就会把测试难度确定为i+l。在测试过程中，由于i始终由考官主观判断以及考生表现的不稳定性，因而i是一个变量。 第四阶段的话题一般涉及到未来、将发生的事情以及事物的可能性(talkingaboutthefuture,whatmayorcouldhappen,andpossibilities)。对考生的要求首先是有话可说，向考官申明"myenglishisverygood,buttheproblemisthatireallyhavenothingtosay"是无济于事的，"无话找话"方可能在测试中有良好的表现，因为"说"(talking)才是最紧要的。对问题的回答没有对与错的区分，错就错在回答说"idon'tknow"！这一阶段最能表现个人风格，心里有什么感觉就说出来，不可停顿及太久(但停顿一两秒钟进行思考在交谈中正常的)，在交谈中运用"导入"和"回避"的策略，即"导入"自己所熟知的内容，回避"心中所无"或"心中所有而口中所难"的内容，学会了遇难则"出"、遇易则"入"，也就没有什么可害怕的了。必须特别指出的是，在第四阶段不存在简单的"yes"或"no"的回答，肯定的回答之后须有详细的阐述，否定的回答之后要具体解释为什么。 首先，没有统一要求的所谓"标准口音"，考生没有必要非得去模仿标准的英国英语(thestandardqueen'senglish)不可。实际上，考试允许考生有口音，只要不会影响到对方的理解，什么口音都无妨。顺便说明一点，尽管目前在大陆的考官有相当一部分为英国口音，但在某个考点也许有一个说美语的考官，因此要准备好适应不同的口音。 其次，ielts口语中使用的词语须自然易懂(naturalandunderstandable)。不要说一般人听不懂的专业术语，不会用英语表达的可以通过解释、举例等方式绕着弯子进行说明，或者干脆放弃不说。许多人把口语不好归罪于词汇量太少，认为"巧媳妇难为无米之炊"，实际上有几千词就够"炊"的了(简明朗文扁的英文解释以及美国之音特别节目所用词汇都非常有限)。假如把一位未受教育的澳大利亚老太太十天内所说过的话记录下来，其词汇量也许不超过一千！但任何人都不会怀疑她的英语口头表达能力。1607A版优质实用文档 7A版优质实用文档我朋友George(口语8分)的方法是，每天坚持听BBC新闻广播，然后不断地重复跟读我朋友Jeffrey(口语8.5分)的方法是，每天坚持练英语绕口令半小时，尽可能地把自己的口腔肌肉都训练得非常麻利。我朋友Peter(口语9分)的方法是，长期观看美剧，听英文歌曲，然后体会其语境并且跟读。总体来说，当然如果你下周或者一个月之内就要考试的话，我觉得我朋友的那些方法对你来说基本是meaningless。练习发音真的是一个很漫长的过程。而且它的投入和产出不成正比。最可怕的是你学得四不像，这样就更丢人更容易失分了。最近看到烤鸭们的评论说，"雅思口语嘛，就是老老实实背topics吧"，这不禁让我想起了四年前的自己，想起那些昏天暗地没完没了的背书日子，想起那些一脱稿就思绪凌乱、一卡壳就目瞪口呆的经历。是的，我承认，无论学什么语言都要经历“背书--学话--调整”这样一个或长或短的试错过程(trialanderror)。毕竟，我们都不是生来就会带着一本语法书(Afterall,wearenotbornwithagrammarbook)。但是，是不是把所有topics都准备了，都背熟了，就可以征服雅思口语的呢？从个人的经验来说，这样的做法无法让我们很好地驾驭英语和自由地表达观点，并且只会让自己无时无刻沉溺于那些提前写好的字字句句当中，然后说着说着，言语就变得僵化，答题就变得死板，甚至说一些牛头不对马嘴(horses'jawsdon'tmatchcows'heads)的话来。那岂不很矛盾吗？一边又说要准备topics，熟记topics，一边又说要临场发挥，自由表达。是的，正是因为这样，我们就需要有一个系统的口语复习过程，背topics只是这个过程里最不起作用的一个环节。1607A版优质实用文档 7A版优质实用文档planation了。这个部分毫无疑问是抢分的黄金机会，也是露家底的时候。如果说，part2topics还能事先准备的话，那么这部分的问题大部分都是即兴的，互动的，弹性的。要把这部分的题目提前准备，几乎不可能，或者说是，大海捞针(justlikelookingforaneedleinahaystack)，事倍功半(gethalftheresultswithtwicetheeffort)。这里的重点是解释说明。通常解释说明分为：举例子说明(useaneGampletoillustrate)，分析前因后果(interpretthecauseandeffect)和纵向横向比较(compareinverticaland/orhozontialdirection)。点不需要多，但一定要深入，合理，有逻辑。所以我认为这部分的重点是“说说道理，聊聊影响”。以上为我对雅思口语三个部分的理解，基于这种理解，我想说说怎么转变思维去准备雅思口语。我觉得，应该很多人都像我一开始那样，把重点放在了PART2，然后逐个topic去找答案写答案，然后朗读背诵。不可否认，这是一种最常规、貌似最踏实的方法。但实际呢，我们被topic无形地锁住了，我们的思维被topic无情地牵引着，以至于我们很时候都会觉得这个topic很难，那个topic不会。为什么会这样呢？这个过程可以理解为“从topics到stories”。因为我们从一开始就脱离了我们自己的亲身经历，只是随着topic来臆想来意淫，而且最要命的是，这些story很多都不是我们自己的亲身经历，说得难听一点，它们都是从别人那里窃取过来的，为的就是东拼西凑，投机取巧，坐享其成，蒙混过关。试问这样又怎么能自然流畅地谈笑风生呢？经过我这三个月的思考和总结，我觉得，平时我们在准备雅思口语的时候，应该更多地“从stories到topics”这个方向去思考。具体来说，就是什么都要先从自己的亲身经历出发，把自己的真实故事说出来。这就是我前面所说的描述亲身经历。雅思口语PART1，PART2和PART3其实无非就是从Description到EG1607A版优质实用文档 7A版优质实用文档planation的过程，按照我的理解就是一个从“描述亲身经历”到“阐明普世价值”的过程。因此，我觉得我们不应该把这三个sections看成三个相互割裂的部分。因为一旦这么划分之后，我们的复习就变得异常的繁琐和沉重(burdensome)。试想一下，PART1有25个以上的topics(住所，家乡，天气，休闲，运动，学习，工作，衣着等，最近还出了新的topics，诸如“number”，“concert”等)。PART2就更疯狂了，据我所知，PART2可以划分为4大类：EVENT,LOCATION,PEOPLE,THING，而这4大类总共可以衍生出至少180个卡片题(曾经从百度文库里下载了一份关于part2的题库，吓我一跳，竟然有186个常考topics，看完之后，直接就绝望了)，要完整地、一个卡片不漏地准备，谈何容易啊。就算咋们真的有这样的恒心去把这些卡片题去准备了，一到了考场，在紧张，陌生，惊恐，亢奋等多种心理因素影响下，很多答案都会忘记得七七八八，或者混合在一起了，这必然会导致说话缺乏条理。到了PART3，我们依旧可能速手无策(wemaybeatalosswhattodo)，因为在PART3更像是随机应变，需要我们脱口而出，对答如流。此时此刻，考官和我们自己都禁不起折腾，这可以看作是我们雅思口语的赛点。既然大包围无法确保我们一路顺风，为什么我们还是那么执着、那么不惜代价地把时间放在背诵话题答案的那里呢？为了突破PART1,2和3，我在备考的后期，我把更多的精力放到“从stories到topics”这个方向上。然后，我把所有口语问题做了重新的划分，大概分为：个人生活，家庭生活，校园生活，职场生活，公共生活等五大类。这样划分为的就是要让自己在说口语的时候，从个人的视角出发，从生活的点滴说起，有话可谈，有事可聊，有感而发。有这样的划分，我就开始在每个板块中构建“亲身经历--->普世价值”这样一个纵向的框架。这个框架为的就是让自己说有层次，有衔接，有内涵。1607A版优质实用文档
