1、译、省略、添加以及替换等翻译策略，以供译者提高翻译质量，增强交际效果。本文还对公示语的概念做出了解释，并根据目的需求与功能两种标准对公示语做了分类。在介绍公示语的特征时，作者将其分为语言特征与功能特征，特征与分类不同，也决定了需要采取不同的翻译策略。本文的创新之处首先在于作者在理论框架上增加了“歧义"这一概念和范畴，完善了已有的理论结构，也便于作者的研究和分析；其次在于作者针对错误的原因在教学方面、提高译者责任心方面和加深文化理解方面提出了改正错误的方案，有别于传统的从语言角度改正错误的角度。关键词：汉英翻译，公示语，功能翻译理
