4、hthedevelopmentandevolutionofhumansociety,manyanimalshavebecomedomesticanimals,andmanyothershavebecomepeople’spets.Insomesense,animalshavebecomepartofpeople’slife.Forthosefactorsabove,intheprocessoflanguagedevelopmentpeoplehaveendowedanimalswithplentifulconnotationsandtheproce
5、ssstillgoeson.Peopleindifferentcountrieshavedifferentideasaboutanimals.AnimalwordsgottheirconnotationsindifferentlanguagesChangesinthemeaningofanimalwordsaredeterminedbycultureofwhichthesubstantialcontentisinturnreflectedbytheculturalmeanings.ManyEnglishandChineseculturally-lo
